A medically complex child has one or more serious medical conditions that require ongoing specialized medical treatment. A medically complex child may experience frequent hospitalizations that can cause emotional and financial hardships for them and their family.

Life with a medically complex child can be an extremely rewarding experience, especially when families have access to support and resources to help them navigate their journey. The Story You Told aims to provide resources through our website, an online support group, and will eventually provide financial support to families as they balance between life at home and in the hospital.
